Trust
Proverbs 3 vs 5 has been my favorite scripture for a very long time. Yet, it is only now that I truly ask myself ‘why is it’? Trust speaks of certainty, a strong belief that is unwavering, a lack of doubt. The scripture says we ought to not just “trust the Lord” but to trust Him with ALL our hearts! That means one should not look to the dark clouds of impending doom or listen to the roaring waves. Rather all focus should be on the Lord. The beauty of it all is that this scripture brings a promise. Don’t we all love promises? It promises us that if we acknowledge the Lord in all our ways, the Lord himself will direct our path, that way we will know exactly where to go. Which means that we have absolutely no need to worry. If we just lay it at the Lord’s feet He will take over. So why do we worry when we can lean on Proverbs 3 vs 5-6??
Saved by Grace – Pumpkins and Cabbages
